So third visit - first no camera and at night, second got caught. But it's all good now, a great walk in explore. Although that may have been the perfect weather and all of the Deer.
Couldn't find much history, I believe the site shut down 2010. Many of the larger buildings would have housed the driers for china clay quarried locally at Lee Moor. On my first visit most of the machinery was still in-situ, but now barely anything remains.
A lovely little house next to the entrance
There were loads of deer here
For when you just gotta have some clay
Thanks for reading.
