Surely if you are planning a trip somewhere abroad, you would spend more than one week planning!

Nara Dreamland was demolished last year - https://abandonedkansai.com/2016/11/08/nara-dreamland-demolition/

You can look at Abandoned Kansai's pages and try to work out the coordinates but he won't give them to you if you ask. You can do the Fukushima tour, but you need €4000 for a 2 day trip - see the Fukushima trip report in the Notworthy reports section.

Agree with Zero81, a weeks notice is leaving it a bit late. I would have started planning at least 3 months ago.

The holy grail of Japanese urbex info in English - http://www.michaeljohngrist.com/ruins-gallery/
http://www.michaeljohngrist.com/2009/02/nichitsu-ghost-town-4-doctors-office/ Nichitsu ghost town is by far the coolest haikyo I've been to, but pretty hard to access without a car and a couple of days to find it.
http://www.michaeljohngrist.com/2009/06/yui-love-hotel-haikyo-chiba/ This one is pretty easily accessible - it was a short bicycle ride from a friend's house in Chiba.
http://www.michaeljohngrist.com/2011/06/japans-abandoned-wild-west-town/ This one should be reasonable accessible, although - full disclosure - I also had a car when visitng this one.
