I last looked at this post in 2008 when it was securely locked, I was in the area, so decided to check on it's status. The compound is even more overgrown now and the lid has been wrenched off its mounting, making it impossible to re-secure. The interior is waterlogged and has been stripped out completely - all that remains of any interest is a wooden crate. The sump handle moves but doesn't appear to have any effect on the water in the drain.
