Report - Lillesdon School, Hawkhurst April 2012

Hi all,

This is my first post, I hope you like it!

We came across this school, knowing it was near by and thought we would take a look around!

Upon entry from the main gates, there is a small cottage (I assume it used to be the guards quarters) it is clearly occupied. The gate has all the usual signs, 'Guard dogs loose,' 'Trespassers will be prosecuted' So we avoided this entrance and found another way.

Once entering the house, clear footsteps could be heard above. From a window above we saw a guy staring at us. Off putting but we wanted to take a look. We avoided upstairs!

Started at Lillesden on my 10th Birthday, many good memories of Hall House, Collingwood and Lillesden. Gave me opportunities for living and good friends. The sound of laughter should ring through these rooms again.
