After a heavy night on the Tykewasser, myself & Thompski decided to check out some derp in Sheffield then after we got bored of that headed out to the sticks for a bit or Hungover mine action.

Neither of us were feeling it, in terms of crawling through shitty tunnels so we made it down to the first level (300?) and inspected the railway of death before heading onwards down the roadway for a bit.

Bit of history: this part of the workings dates back to 1867 but closed in 1981. The Long Rake Spar Co. still operates surface operations nearby which fills the old workings with dust during the week. :(

Anyway, only got a few shots as we didn't venture down to the lower levels, access down to here was a bit of a pain but it didn't deter me!
