A whistle from Damon and I turned round to see him disappearing through a doorway. Following him in and reading the signs, it was clear that we'd found the other main MG Rover paint shop. Here, from what I remember reading, Rover 75 shells were painted, but this shop differed from the other one as the shells were suspended from above rather than below.
Inside, the place was stripped bare, although a neighbouring warehouse was stacked high with crates of painted MG bumpers in all different colours. Interesting all the same though, as I've often wondered what became of the 'other' paintshop.
