Situated in an unusually large compound atop one of the 5 Redoubts that make up Maker fort.
Heavily overgrown and terribly badly vandalised inside, with almost all of the Polystyrene Tiles ripped down and a great deal of Spray-paint on the walls. (Note the very 'clever' Swastika graffiti. Wrong war, uneducated fools.) The BPI mount, however, still remains.
This Post has one of the best hatch/counterweight mechanisms that I've seen on an unkept/unrestored site. The Sump contains approximately 4 inches of water, but the pump has been broken. Unfortunately, the FSM pipe appears to be missing its cap - which has been causing significant water ingress. This has been combatted by the addition of a large bag and some tape inside the post.
The state of this site, I'm told, is down mostly to the close proximity of a large outdoor activities centre.
The original compound gate still remains, in very good condition.
