Report - Mountain Ash Hospital , South Wales - May 2016

Another day and another fucked Welsh hospital. Total walk in this one, which would explain why it's been heavily vandalised and stripped to the bone. Pretty much just a shell now with the highlight being the stair case in the entrance hall, some lovely tiles. Other than that there was some nice dirty corridors and it was cool to see a roof from the inside totally devoid of slate. Had a relaxed hour or so around here with Paul 2129.
HISTORY
Could not really find anything on this place apart from this stolen from a different forum.
Mountain Ash Cottage Hospital was first established in 1910, and later become the General Hospital for the area in 1928. It closed in 2012.

I am a newb at this and this place was one of my first finds. Like you said it is now an empty she'll. Where in south wales are you from? Would be nice to formally a sort of group if you fancied it

Awesome shots. Recently found my Urbex bug after visiting Penscynor Wildlife park. Thinking this will be my first proper explore!
