We stopped by here today. We took.our drone in and needed to retrieve it. I phoned security from board on the gate, turns out they don't have any security up anymore. He said to do what we wanted, lol.

Anyway, despite every building being trashed and the car burnt out. And the place being boarded heavily. There was one window open (smashed) to house to gain access. The bunker has access but looks like council have placed a very heavy concrete sleeper post to stop entry into door of bunker. The swimming pool was boarded but someone conveniently left a ladder so can access through top windows.

David's books are still there, and everything else trashed.

From reports at local council, it had go ahead for a care home and use of the lake. However, it's been thwarted due to environmental concerns. That was in 2022. So David's place still stands.

You can still get in the bunker the bunker there is a gap under the hatch just watch for spiders lol

We were only there 2 days ago, if you can see the end of that mega heavy concrete post, it was placed over the bunker lid. Have you been there when that concrete post was there?

Another one that has seen better days, it was a sad day when they painted over the mural in the pool.

Yes i hit my head on it coming out 😂 there is a gap u can slide under the hatch as there is missing bricks
