Pool Park Hospital North Wales visited with old skool and Dubchester, this little hospital has quickly become a tourist hotspot and you can see why, there is a lot of charm about the whole building with its grand fire places and wood paneling. clearly the main attraction is the wrap around stair case which is stunning to say the least. if you look closely you can see where some panels are missing i just hope that it goes no further and only natural decay is responsible for it's demise.one of the most interesting areas for me was the basement full of little cupboards and hideaways.
The hospital severed as an over spill to the much loved Denbeigh in 1937, if your going to one you might as well go and see the other well worth the visit.Enjoy.
