This really is the new tourist destination.
Me, flip and two non members went yesterday and bumped into two groups of explorers - all non members.
Quite a crowd in this small hospital i can tell you.
Trying to get nice shots without someone bumbling into frame proved difficult!

Some detail about it:
Pool Park was rebuilt in 1826-1829 for the second Lord Bagot. It was acquired by the North Wales Counties Mental Hospital and opened in 1937 to accommodate 87 patients for relief of overcrowding at the Denbigh hospital. It has a main elevation of 2-storeys, plus attic, and is rendered with a slate roof. It has a nine bay front with projecting gabled end bays. The centre three bays are also gabled with a projecting central entrance bay. The entrance has an ornate pilastered porch with coat of Arms above and an arched entrance. There are small pane transome and mullion casement windows and gabled dormers.

This was incredibly hard to photograph well as it was glass above mirror!
But i like that people have started a sign in book, haha.
Has anyone got a picture of the old one on the table at Deva?
that was awesome.

All in all this is a really lovely destination.
Mainly because it's lack of human destruction, mostly natural.
I'll be adding some night shots to this report soon as it's a must see again at night =]
Peace
