Report - Pumping Station, Hayley Green, Clent, April 2014

Couldn't find much info on this one. Just that it used to be a pumping station for the Elan pipeline to the Hayley Green water supply, commissioned in 1949.

As you can see a bit of a derp but I enjoyed shooting the old knobs and dials in the control rooms with their lovely cast labels.

nothing has changed in the last 6 years by the looks of things. Worth it if your passing but not worth a special visit on its own.

Splendidly done that man. I really like the utilitarian design of these 40's / 50's service buildings, there's one near Derby that I keep meaning to have a look at.
