On Sunday I went to Tai Ma Li railway station in the south of Taiwan. This station has a goods yard, and nearby there is a row of houses which belong to the railway administration. Over the last 15 years, these houses have been slowly vacated, leaving only 2 which are still occupied. Below is a collection of photographs from inside the 5 houses I went into. The layout for each one is the same, the most recently vacated being 2009. However, the one with the majority of the items inside, including the Scalextric, was vacated in 1996.
A very simple explore, this, which gives a little insight into the lives of the people who used to live in these houses. I hope this tides you over until the big industrial sites I am preparing to post in the near future.
