Very long time lurker, first time poster...I've been meaning to post this for years since I changed employment and couldn't get in trouble for it any more. I just hope it's worthwhile of posting...
History

The 'A' building isn't the first building on site, it's the second, built circa 1930-1940. It was decommissioned in the 90s, and was used as a storage facility for filing for some years, however I assume at some point it was deemed too costly to maintain the building. It ended up empty, disconnected from all services, and (mostly) sealed up and forgotten about.
There's no trace of any of 'A' building any more to my knowledge, it's been swallowed up by the new district of Houlton.

You'd be forgiven for thinking they were taken on a potato, I can only apologise...my skills have improved a bit now.

Fortunately because of what it is and where it is, it stayed pretty much untouched.
