To be honest when i first visited this site i was baffled by its existence, why there was narrow gauge track on originally a standard gauge railway, and why there was a sole standard gauge train as well, It was not untill @tigger gave a reason to all of this: The standard guage industrial shunter is there for the same reason as the narrow gauge stuff. None of it is originally from that railway line (though the standard gauge shunter was from the chemical factory down the road IIRC). Bloke was hoping to build things up, something stopped that happening, his son used the narrow gauge stuff a bit.

A nice walk down a public path using OS led us to the trains, A steep incline at a section but it was dry so there wasnt any problems, cross a field full of cows then into a section of trees where the trains lay. There was around 1/3 of a kilometers worth of narrow gauge track with many rollingstock and working junctions on it which in theory someone could drive a little battery wagon, a standard guage train also sat to the left on its own section of track.
