Its named Sheepscar beck between the source & Buslingthorpe lane,
then becomes Meanwood - Lady beck until it merges with the Aire by the Armouries.
The Gipton beck merges with the Meanwood - Lady beck by Bristol street,
with a Length of 5 miles? between source at Breary & the Aire, consisting of 6 culverts.

the retaining walls & culverts start at Buslingthorpe lane

That’s really interesting mate.

Unusual for a culvert that long (imo) in that it seems that nearly the whole length was constructed at the same time and to the same style with that same-shaped central stone channel. Clearly one person’s design, not a mish-mash of styles spread over 100 years. The concrete box, corrugated roof and other later alterations and so much going on around just adds to it.
