In the second from last picture you can see projection and viewing ports in the wall suggesting that that the building was used for films amongst other things. The projection room itself is conspicuous by its absence.

What a pisser about that door, nevertheless some really nicely composed shots there. Its a stunning building, I do regret not taking a single external shot myself.

Yes that's the rear wall of the main hall, the projection room has since been demolished.
