History:
This place has been covered multiple times and there is a lot of history on google so I don't want to just copy and paste a big stream of text again.
as a quick overview St Joseph's College is a former Roman Catholic seminary. The foundation of the large building was laid in April 1880 and college was opened in 1883. The buildings have since been deconsecrated
recent updates on the history include one of the priests being charged with the sexual abuse of several children.

Exploration:
This location has 24 hour security and lots of CCTV cameras on the outside, as well as internally, so is becoming less and less accessible mainly due to the safety risks, scrap men, thieves and people damaging the internals (such as the Victorian sinks and baths)
The building is massive and it took us 6 hours to get around all of the floors, loft spaces, roof and basement. there is still copious amounts of history here and it is great to see the place untouched for so long (out of date food from the 80's in the kitchen, papers on the floor from the 50's). The church is defiantly one of the best features with the large marble artwork and stained glass windows. I wouldn't recommend ringing the church bell though... it's way louder than you would think.
as mentioned this site has been explored quite a lot and has lots of reports so my main goal was to provide an update on the building as well as provide my photos which hopefully people will enjoy.
