I have always read posts on the forum for information/history on sites. I felt I would start an account and write reports myself.
So this is my first report.
We have recently been to a couple of other Deep shelters around Dover (Lydden Spout and Langdon Hole) but this is the first one I’ve tried to get some decent photos for a report on the forum.

The enterance has been sealed before but getting in is easy enough, especially compared to Lydden Spout. The tunnel down follows the cliff edge with a hole in the cliff wall at the bottom where you can see out. Once at the bottom the tunnel turns in-land and is chalk with no steel. The tunnels are steel lined further in.

Inside the steel lined parts of the tunnels, they’re very similar to the other two. At either end there are stairs that lead outside but these have been bricked up and backfilled.

This is a good explore and worth a look. I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.

Thanks for looking

good first report there. :thumb
A word of advice though you should avoid posting photos of access to these places to prevent unwanted visitors entering. :thumb
