This week, me and joe-of-loath visited the Thames Water personnel shelter which is right on our doorstep, the bunker was designed to house up to 12 workers for around 30 days and they would monitor the water supply in the local reservoir. The bunker itself was built around the 1980's (from research, I could be wrong).

The bunker was fairly easy to get to thanks to holes in the fencing which made for a easy walk to the bunker. There is CCTV (two Ptzs) which appears to cover the recent pumping station that was built nearby (https://corporate.thameswater.co.uk/Media/News-releases/Camouflaged-booster-station)

The inside of the bunker itself is quite run down now, there's no power, graffiti on the walls and a thin layer of water thanks to someone leaving the emergency hatch open (now sealed).

Hi,

I visited the Blunsdon Bunker this weekend, after gaining access through the double doors on Saturday, then this evening put wellies on and went exploring down there, didn't visit all the rooms but went into 4 different rooms, still lots of Graffiti and it is flooded throughout-luckily my feet didn't get to wet through the wellies.

Maybe we could gather next weekend on the Saturday during the day and go down there as a group so you guys can take a further look and I can see the rooms that I didn't tonight?

Many Thanks,
