So, as this isn't too far from me and thompski was in town, we decided we might go and have a gander. After our weekend of total fail spanning the width of the east midlands, it was nice to get out somewhere we'd actually be able to explore.

The Becket School is a Roman Catholic school formed by the merger of two other local schools in '75. One of these schools, the Becket Grammar School for Boys, dates back to 1929. Recently, a new campus has been constructed and the Upper and Main campuses have fallen into disuse.

A more comprehensive history can be found at the usual source

On with some pics. They are carp.

And an exterior:

Cheers to thompski for suggesting we go and do this one. Nice way to spend an evening after work, even if it's not the best explore in the history of the universe ever.
