The Bridge Tavern, in Ipers Bridge Road, Holbury, has been quenching the thirst of residents and visitors to the New Forest since the start of last century. the pub closed in 2013 and is now due for demolition, to be replaced by a retirement residence. rumour has it in the 1920's the landlord hung himself in the dove bar.

went fairly easily although i wasn't expecting a newly erected fence or the amount of vandalism inside
