Well, i know that i only signed up yesterday, but i thought i'd just share my 2pence's worth.
Me and 2 freinds headed up to doncaster last sunday for our first official "urbex" if you like. Not too far away from home, an hour tops via the A1 and M18.
The site which im sure you all know is a dis-used powerstation with 6 remaining cooling towers, 1 which is still fully intact with the internals still there (6/12/09). A real experience to stand inside one to understand how they work. It was pretty hard to stay on my feet inside the towers as the wind was very strong. My tripod parted with me at least 3 times lol.
There seems to be some sort of underground tunnel system which i assume goes around the whole site as there were doors and man holes near enough everywhere? Might take a trip backup with a flash light in the near future.
Anyway, here's a few snaps i took
