Tonedale Mill Engine-Boiler House Somerset, Firstly thanks to Urbanity for the help and with this and the Dye works you weren't wrong when you said they were impressive well worth the 440 mile drive. The Engine hose is part of a bigger site with workshops and mill but with time pressing and more to see i failed to get these done which i'm sure i will get to do soon enough. it's fantastic to see these old steam/Electric Engines and boilers and there in amazing condition it's a nice start to the day which is lucky because as i pulled up in the car jumped out walked round the corner straight into security on his way to work..not to sure on the history of the Engine's them selfs but the mill was established in 1790 by the fox family and was for many years the largest woolen mill in the southwest employing over 2000 people and is currently going through a redevelopment but has long been on hold.if your visiting the mill this is a must..
