Always had a fascination with this particular bridge, so have too get this fascinating structure done.
Notice the bridge was in darkness, wasnt gonna use torch - spotlight either.
Maybe the contractors had left the gate unlocked, they hadnt :mad so had too use certain techniches.
Had too be careful on the structure as it was spitting on and off so very slippery, and on the ladders / walkways if one of those lattice panels were too be lose.
There was lots of stuff about cylinders, paint and scaffolding, wasnt the tidiest of contractors.
Well worth the effort tho, for the views alone.

This pedestrian, vehicle bridge
links Middlesbrough.
The cantilever bridge was designed by Cleveland bridge and engineering,
and built by William Arrol 1910 - 1911.
Opened on 17th October 1911,
is still in use today as a transporter bridge.
The bridge is 851ft long, with a central span of 580ft and 225 ft high.
The bridge carries the, A178 road
and is grade 2 listed.
The bridge is currently closed for refurblishment reopening in September 2014,
there putting a glass lift on the north tower and rebuilding the gondola.
The gondola is suspended by cables and runs on a wheel, tyre and rail formation.
Theres 2 rails on at each side of the bridge, crossing in 90 seconds.
