Explored with local hero Jan Emil

A former storage facility for pressurised gas that supplied the majority of Copenhagen with gas through the last 30 years. Currently out of use but due to be redeveloped into residential flats if funding can be found.

Stands at 108m which is a tad bigger than CIS Tower for you Manchester folks.

One hell of an ascent and it seemed like every set of stairs up made the building seem another 20 meters bigger. Think we must have climbed the stairs for about 15 minutes each way, plenty of time to think about just how stable this old Scandinavian engineers had (or hadn't in places) made the old boy.

The roof was convex but you could feel it bobbing and popping under our wait and there was also a mighty wind to contend with.

Yes i've over used the fisheye and it finally made me shell out the money for a 10-20mm so hopefully future reports will look better.

Props out to Jan Emil, a god among men!
