Victoria Arches, Manchester - December 2011
And it's about time, too.
For a variety of pathetic reasons this was my first visit. I was tired, moderately sleepy and doing my weekly wash when I received a text from fishbrain, ' Arches...?'
Really enjoyed it, really pleased to have finally ticked it off, really disappointed at how the ruffians have left it... but also mighty pleased developments have been so tremendously slow.
During my 7 years living in the city, I have hoarded enough information on Victoria Arches to open a portable library so if you want my version on the history of the Arches you can buy me a pint and I will happily regurgitate all I can remember. For now though, some pictures...
