Report - Wycliffe Congregational Church, Stockport - April 2018

Visited as a post work explore with @Choo Choo m8ty. Built by the Manchester architect Edward Walters in a Gothic style, the Grade II listed Wycliffe Congregational Church has seen very little change in the last 170 years. The church is split across 3 floors with the basement level previously being used by the Paramount Boxing Club who vacated the premises a couple of years ago. The 1st floor was originally used for addition seating however the balcony, this had been closed to worshipers and covered over as attendance to the church reduced. However these boards were removed during recent work to repair the roof of the building and the balcony can now be seen again. The stained glass windows have been removed and replaced with transparent plastic in an attempt to protect them from vandalism. To our suppose the building still had power with most of the lights still in working order.

yep good mooch this . really enjoyed it. Shocked at power still on . Was funny has fook playing with organ switches then poof light came on lol. Nice report matey.
