History
Dating back to 1871, the old site of Ysgol Cae Top has been abandoned in the middle of Upper Bangor since the school moved to new premises in 2009. At the time of closure there were plans to turn the site into residences but the poor access halted them. Later there were plans for a care home but again the access was found to be an issue especially in case of emergency.

a nice ending for my trip into wales This school had to be the best ive been in with many original items left, it's right in the centre of a housing estate but didnt seem to have much Man-made damage.

Nice find. Very colourful, you can just imagine the kids in there doing those drawings and making those creepy but artistic masks. The shape of the roof is different. The build looks so solid. Nice & natural decay too. :thumb
