Bass was a brewery in Burton-upon-Trent, famous for its pale ale with the red triangle, one of Britain's earliest trademarks. On a completely unrelated note, Bass was the first beer I ever sampled at the tender age of five in a pub long since derelict. My father wasn't too chuffed.

They built this massive complex between 1901 and 1907 in phases. It consists of a water tower and boiler house with 9 ranges where the malting process took place. They ceased in this role in 1959 and were used as a poultry farm for some time. At present they're disused however there are plans for their reuse as part of a mixed use development. Anyway I'm sure you've seen it all before, but here's my effort.
