Father and Son team reunited once again! After an erratic morning being financially raped by the bastards at CrossCountry, I made my way down to Birmingham International to meet up with my Dad and do 3 sites before heading back to Oxford.
First port of call was done on a whim, being Goodman's Yard in Wishaw. I'd already been here in 2008 to get some other stuff that has now gone, but we returned because I've got a far better camera and Dad wanted to see a loco that's in store there that I'd seen last year. Same as last year, it was a walk in with few people around, and those that did appear didn't do anything.
This is Class 31 31144, which I'll post pics of in Newton Heath here
Class 47 47484, recently sold from the site owner to a preservation group for restoration to continue
Class 09 09024, not sure what's happening with this
Class 08 08503, this was here when I last went in 2008. Again no idea what's happening with this.
Class 09 09015, recently moved from Bescot (I think) to here for spares
