History
This power plant was built in the 1940 to provide electricity to nearby steel works in addition to the nearby 1899 gas power plant, which was sadly completly closed (and probably under alarm due to restoration works). The turbine hall is empty but the boiler house is still in quite good condition.
Pictures
The first boiler contol room
The second control room
Symmetry between two boilers
Stein & Roubaix boiler
Blue pipes
The empty turbines hall, with only a turbocompressor left
In a nearby building were some nice looking decayed pumps
I would have really liked to visit the gas engines hall, but sadly there was not any access.
