What a place, glad ive had a chance to see it before it has been partly demolished and redeveloped. Visited with BenWRX, huge thanks to him for taking the time to meet up with me and give a tour of the asylum 
. Aside from the main building we did the tower, parts of the tunnels, morgue, secure unit and a quick look at the chappel.
The asylum is in quite a sorry state now, the roof slates are missing all over the place, which has caused extensive water damage to the floors. Quite alot of chav and pikey damage, but even still i love this place it has soo much character. Would have been really nice to see it just after it closed.
The majority of my photos have been messed with photomatix, just got this HDR package so most have been run through it. I feel HDR works for some and others its messed up too much, and lost most of the atmosphere.
