Where about on the docks is this? I'd love to go.

It's on the Brunswick Place/Regent Rd junction. The warehouses behind it [slightly crappy] and on the other side of Brunswick [far better] have been approved for demolition,so you might want to check those out as well.

Dave.

These pictures are amazing! I've been trying to organise getting inside these buildings for a while now but had no luck.

Could I speak to you for an article on Urban Exploration I'm putting together for the Liverpool ECHO? Will credit and link back to your work.

Thank you for the kind comments, i feel that an explorer from liverpool would be best for your article there are plenty with a lot of good work. Use the search button at the top, most articles are frowned upon making us look like we have broken in or little respect for the buildings i hope this will not be the case. If you have no joy with a local explore please PM me to discuss further..Thanks

I can't PM yet as I am new here - but these pics are brilliant. Any article wouldn't be accusing anyone of having little respect. We've done similar articles and mainly focus on the images with a quote or two just to add a bit of colour.

Straight away the comments are the echo should not be encouraging trespassing…etc.
Unfortunately we have no control over comments - unless there is swearing or whatever. On our Facebook page there were a few negative comments but the overwhelming majority were people genuinely interested and happy to see the pictures.
In my experience of digital journalism, you could give away £1m to a local charity and someone would still have something negative to say.

Your main issue is mate theres nothing in it for us. You wont/cant pay us for our images and doesn't appear like you are going to write any kind of decent intelligent artical that would compliment them either. The one you have linked us to is dire, what you have written has absolutely no merit on its own and doesn't really say much to a reader other than 'look at these pictures'.. As far as im concerned only an idiot would give you permission to reproduce their images for nothing while you are creaming a load of profit for yourself off the top. Luckily for you theres plenty of idiots out there

Hi Josh, the Liverpool Echo has had some really decent stuff in it lately in particular a series of articles from Georgie, a lad from here on 28 who shared his images and experiences with The Echo and Radio Merseyside equally, he did it because the Echo is a local paper that is big on local history and also going through a transition at the moment as you probably know, but he is by no means an idiot and only with local knowledge would one be aware of the Echo's present predicament at the moment regarding news content and entertainment features and all that bollocks that has been going on, I voiced my opinion about the Echo and its format but sadly did not get what I wanted but that is life, anyway I am rambling here but I would like to say that if any newspaper deserved content about local stuff it would be the Echo because it is a local Rag with a genuine interest in Merseyside and its people and history.
Yes it is a business but it gives back by way of free news and traffic updates etc to locals on the net, I have some pictures of Liverpool landmarks and you can use them happily if you would consider making an agreed donation to the forum, if they are of any use that is...no credit..just a donation.
