The district of Pembroke in Malta was developed by the British Forces as a series of bases. A lot of fine buildings were erected, built of the local yellow limestone. After the last forces left in 1979, the land reverted to the now independent Republic of Malta, who started selling the buildings for conversion to primarily residential development.
This building was erected by the military in 190?(the inscription is too weathered/mutilated to read what it was!) and was last used as Raffles Disco into the 1980's. I cannot find any information on the web about it, but it wanted doing, being visible from the main road.

Ancient menu, judging by the prices!

The rest of the rooms were totalled and full of rubbish, including a large dead hedgehog!
