Fullers was bought by La Porte Industries in 1954. The site closed in 1997 and the quarry is now a landfill site used by Biffa.
This place is somewhere i always wanted to have a look at but had the feeling it wasn't worth the trip alone. I was in the area recently so thought i might as well have a nosey and see if i could find that angry man and his massive dog. No sign of him so no use for the Bonios but had a nice little mooch about.
There was plenty going on. Generators running and vehicles driving about but we didn't see anyone. The place is a wreck and its really muddy.
