Known as Bound Brook Ltd (which later became GKN Bound Brook Limited) based in Eastern Avenue, Lichfield, between approximately 1968 and 1980. Haven't been able to find much more! Visited after the news story below, waste was still there and god did it stink... Couldn't access all of the building due to locks.
"THOUSANDS of bales of illegally stored waste stacked floor to ceiling in a former Lichfield engineering works have left neighbouring businesses facing a plague of flies and vile stink.
Lichfield District Council was alerted last Friday and when the Environment Agency entered the former GKN building this week they found an estimated 5,500 bales of bagged waste, which includes food, covered in thousands of flies."
