History: This Mill was is the remnants of what was once a thriving woollen industry of what was the heart of the wool industry in southern Wales at the peak it was one of 24 mills in the surrounding villages and was part of what was a thriving industry in the late 1800s. The factory itself dates pre-1888 and there isn't to much information on the history available on the web and presumably closed in the 1920s with the general decline of this industry in the area.
