Anyone who has any individual issues with their posts please flag them up this week so we can sort them.

Aside from a list of other stuff, we are still doing a final fix on a bunch of posts and we may already have it noted.

It's inevitable the odd one may slip the net but our way of working has been virtually fool proof, but there's always that one that got away.

We would also be grateful if you spot anything that needs attention while browsing over the next few weeks/months then again please flag that up also and I'll add it to the list. Use the report button at the top of the page to do this.

This coming week will be painful, but we will have virtually a clean website with very little dead content (aside from image links that inevitably become dead if people move/delete content etc).

Please bear in mind you can upload/host images directly to our servers now and the process is really simple, we will post a 'how to' this week for the few that need their hands holding.

Many thanks for being patient and holding onto your photo accounts whilst we processed the many thousands of images required to fix this headache.

It's also worth noting that Flickr is crap, and anyone paying or not should consider sacking it off as they do remove your images because their system is somehow flawed. We've had to do additional manual editing as a result of this to preserve some legacy content and some decent threads, this has also added in extra time that we could have done without, however we had to factor it in.

Flickr content will continue to fall off the table and most users won't be aware, it's a massive undertaking to fix this going forward, so the best option is to fully re-consider how/where you host stuff from today onwards.

Consider 'other' companies will no doubt follow suit and take the path Photofuckit have to increase revenues as their data centres 'don't run/pay for themselves' and cost money as does any decent reliable hosting. We'll continue to provide this service for anyone interested, there is no real limit as such because we have that covered but do appreciate it costs money and unfortunately 28DL isn't the money making yoink machine people would lead you to believe.

Apologies for the hefty reply, we'll keep you updated but for now hold onto your images a while longer so we can repair some of the stragglers that imo are worth holding onto.

We may or may not have lost the odd Camelot thread when the server couldn't play catch up :D

We're going to do a major upgrade on the software soon and hopefully the whole uploading/preview images system will be improved, it's something that's on the list but for now in its simplest form it does what it says on the tin
