Hello all, about my 4th report on here if my memory serves me right... We did this explore just in time, the tear down had very much begun with a chunk of the building missing in the far corner. I believe this building is now demolished. Couldn't get down into the retail section at the bottom of the building due to on site security...I also dont think anyone else has done this building.
A brief bit of information on the site:
Alongside neighbouring Westminster City Hall, Kingsgate House represents a major strategic asset in the heart of Victoria. Stretching from 66 to 74 Victoria Street, the building includes 14,450 square metres of office space (home to a range of Government departments), as well as 2,850 square metres of retail accommodation.
The pictures:
Looking pretty ominous when we saw it...
Every floor has piles ready for scrap
Lift area
The roof
Other half of the roof
Nice views of Victoria Street
Battersea lurking on the horizon
Other side of the building
Gand
