One of the all time greats in my opinion surely needs no intro.

After hearing and seeing evidence that this place had started to be demolished I had to make one final trip to see for myself, and also to try and do the parts I hadn't done on my previous visits.
It has indeed finally started to be demolished (sort of) with loads of machinery on site and quite a bit already gone, also very easy access compared to how it used to be so if anybody hasn't been yet i would recommend making a visit.

Upon making my way out I saw security but as I was already over the fence I waited for him to come over and asked if it was all being demolished, he said just the newer addition was as the rest was listed but he didn't know what plans they had for it.

Then i got to see the bits i'd missed in the past

Some other areas still look the same other than natural decay

Some look much worse thanks to cable thieves

That's certainly a tough sight on they eyes, I can think of few sites which have kept so well for such a great length of time. As far as I can tell, none of the main mill complex is listed, we can hope that they'll look kindly on the older sections, but I don't hold much hope.

A true classic. One I’ve regretted not going back to - my original photos, or at least the raw files, are lost and if guts me

Glad to have been in a few times but gut wrenching to see it being torn down, as others have said SO much history in there, preserved so well! Not sure how long the demo has been going but they seem to be tearing through pretty quick…..I thought it would take a lot longer given all the machinery in there!

Ive seen one vid where the water isn't pooring out Maybe its an internal gutter system or something

Been a good time since I’ve seen that, but I do remember it was just like that if anything it seems lighter, it was crashing last time I visited
