Visited today with Alley. Quite a big site, bigger than I had expected, and getting in was pretty straightforward. Unfortunately some damage has occured to the place since Alley was last there, mainly in the form of a few ceiling tiles and some insulation being pulled out, bricks and things moved, etc. Possibly people have been in to strip the place of wiring or metal.

Anyway, stacks and stacks of pottery and moulds. It's amazing so much has been left. The yard especially is choc-full of pottery of all kinds, from mortar and pestle sets to rather nice bathroom sinks and coffee mugs. All going to waste though, as clearly nobody wants it.

Not a bad explore, and plenty of nice details around the place like the glazed tiles on the walls, bits of paperwork and transfer stock cupboard. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.
