I did this the hard way about 10 years ago, was much fun :-)

Over the last 6 months or so something like 2.5 million euros has been spent on it to make it tourist friendly. Tourists will be charged 6 Euros each (free until September). The local train station is even being renamed "Camino del Rey" to bring in all those daytrippers from Malaga. Safety rails all the way now and no gaping holes in the ground.

Might be on it myself in a couple of months time as in the area. Would the mods want a report since it was once an Urban Explore?

Not happy at all about the revamp - I remember about 3 years ago showing pics to my son (then 5) and telling him that one day I will get him on it. So well done people of Spain for ruining my son's dreams and hopes

Anyways for those wanting to do it the easy safe way , it needs to be pre-booked through this website
