Report - Grinkle and Kettleness tunnels N. Yorkshire Feb 2015

There is another mining tunnel under Ridge Lane which is often called Grinkle tunnel which is easy to find, open and would be an easy one to do, although I still haven't done one!

.

The Ridge Lane tramway tunnel is a really pleasant little stroll and a great place for photography - just mind the roosting bats!

Great photos, good to see both tunnels. I have done Sandsend twice, its in far worse condition than Kettleness, a lot of damp and the north end has had a partial collapse at some point, still accessible though

Nee bother - it's a grand little tunnel.
