I won't do a lot of history on this place as its been done many times before.
Maltby grammar school is a former secondary school which dates back to the 1930s. After years of unsatisfactory Ofsted reports the school became an Academy. After a £10.9 million investment from the 'building schools for the future programme', new facilities were built nearby, until the building fell out of use in 2012.

I had been to this place a few months before and it was tightly sealed, however seized the opportunity to have a snoop around when I knew it was open! A fairly easy and relaxed explore. Some interestind features remain and also some interesting items if you spend the time to look around, including records from 1992. It's such a shame to see such a lovely building left to ruin!
