Visited with Speed.
Shorts was at the top of the list for a day in Kent that we'd been planning for a while since it had been almost four years since my last visit and I can't even find the photos from back then-most likely they were crap
We set off super early from Brighton with Speed picking me up straight from work and with a giant cuddly kangaroo in the passenger seat to act as a pillow. True to form, I slept the whole way dong a rubbish job of shotgun. I'd forgotten how big the network of Shorts Tunnels was and some bits I only vaguely recognised.
For the next couple of hours, we waggled round Tesco torches and meandered our way round the whole complex, taking photos and kicking up dust wherever we went. It was freezing down there and I had to do a nature wee which upset me greatly
It was a bonza start to the day and great to see it again. If you like tunnels, get your ass down these!
Umm here's the photos
