One of the many pubs that were situated on Broad Street, now it seems it may only be this one and The Durham Ox that still stands. Sadly, there isn't much left inside this pub, as the whole place is severely fire damaged.

You can check out all my photos from this explore here on my Flickr.

Situated at 80 Broad Street, the Ye Old Harrow opened its doors to the public in 1822 and closed around 2008. Known as one the "most haunted pub in Sheffield", a former tenant reported several strange experiences during their time in this pub, including encountering a dark figure, doors which closed themselves and items which disappeared and reappeared up to a month later. A former occupier of the site remembered the shadow and closing doors from the 1970s.

The explore:
Access to the pub isn't the most straightforward and requires a level of agility to actually find the way in, but nevertheless we were persistent and finally it paid off! Although the whole place is severely fire damaged, there's still a significant of exploring to do inside and some interesting things to see. An upper level to the pub is somewhat intact, but we simply didn't trust the crumbling floor enough to venture to the upper level. There's a cool basement to have a look around too, albeit covered in cobwebs!

Wonder who this once belonged to:

Sadly, the whole place is fire damaged and in a state of disrepair:

Perhaps the only people haunting this place are the Dragon's themselves:

Ward's best bitter was originally brewed in Sheffield by Ward's Brewery. Robinsons acquired the brand in 2003 and brewed Ward's as cask ale until 2005 when it became available in keg:

Upstairs we go:

The whole upper floor is pretty much inaccessible:
